tea products, places, and things
I really had every intention on blogging everyday on tea but life happens and then you lose your internet and well, you just have to roll with it. So I’m going to highlight some random things pertaining to tea that I like or want to try.
First the Teavana Perfect Tea Maker 16 oz. Once I started using this I’ll never go back. I don’t recommend tea balls because they just don’t work.
Next
It’s tea in a shortbread all rolled into one! My hubby and I like the Chai Tea Shortbread. You can find this at Akin’s, higher end grocery stores, and on the web.
Finally places aka tearooms and or cafes.
If you live near the OKC metropolitan area I have a few recommendations for you.
A Spot for Tea This is a girly kind of place. You know the kind you take your mom or girlfriends. They have a wide selection of teas and you can also take some home. I think a tea room is a good place to share a pot of tea over some good conversation and maybe some scones. They also do birthday parties for kids and their parties are a little girl’s dream of dress up and being fancy.
Another favorite is Inspirations Tea Room. This is a lovely place for lunch. Everything I’ve had is simply delicious. Be sure to make a reservation though as they are usually quite busy and you don’t want to stand around waiting while everyone else is sipping tea and noshing on quiche!
Then there’s T, an urban teahouse.
check out Katie’s review. She has the low down. All I can say is go, see, brew! BTW I got some hazelnut oolong from there and it is simply marvelous! Bonus: You can resteep the tea 1-2 more times. So it can be very economical!
*Stay tuned for an at home beauty treatment involving tea coming to a Saturday blog post near you!
