Review: 30 things to do before I turn 31…

1. Walk on the beach at sunset done

2. Learn how to do a blanket stitch: done My Granny taught me, now I need to remember what she taught me

3. Try 12 new recipes (1 for each month) done: I tried more than 12. Pioneer Woman has turned my cooking world upside down. She rocks!

4. Take a hike Didn’t do this but hope to maybe in the spring

5. Try one of every cuppie at this place. My mom brought me a cuppie for my b-day so I tasted the goodness on my 31st b-day and stood outside their locked door for the first time 3 days after my b-day but they were closed early. I must go back soon. I want to try the Traveler!

6 Learn how to use my camera manually Just didn’t get around to it but I did take more photos with film and they turned out so good!

7. Attempt to take a picture with my Grandfather’s camera I’m embarrassed to say I still can’t find it but I really think it’s in my closet somewhere.

8. Camp out in the backyard Well I finally got my hands on a tent so when the weather warms we’re going for it!

9. Take Colin to a baseball game Stephen and I went to a game but we have yet to take Colin.

10. Transform the Master bedroom into my most favorite room in the house I lost focus but I’m going to work on that this year

11. Go iceskating (sniff…)

12. Get the 4 of us in a photobooth I tried several times to get Stephen to do this but he balked so I still don’t have a photobooth strip

13. Paint Colin’s room gonna git er done this spring

14. Go to a football game does soccer count?

15. Teach Kate sign language done

16. Write at least 1 sentence/day in my journal commitment is hard

17. Read the New Testament I’ll keep on keepin’ on

18. Try Zumba done and fun!

19. Dust off the sewing machine and make a stitch done

20. Put all the photos in albums sorta done

21. Clean out the closet almost done

22. Learn a lullaby done

23. Teach Colin how to tell a joke done

24. Bake fresh bread done

25. Read 3 fiction books Eclipse It’s been a blur. I’ve read at least 2 adult fiction and numerous children’s books

26. Reclaim the garage ugh! not yet

27. Grow tomatoes nope

28. Keep up with Kate’s baby book mostly

29. Finish Colin’s baby book mostly but it seems like a project that’ll never be truly finished.

30. Fill a jar with magical thinking So I don’t have a jar full but I did try to write down the little things Colin would say for example: "I’m looking forward to being a cowboy when I grow up." 2.23.09
