My baby girl turned four on August 2nd!
We started our day with the traditional sprinkle donut breakfast, singing “happy birthday” and watching her blow out the candles.
We surprised her with her first “big girl” bike. Hello training wheels goodbye tricycle!
And she opened up the rest of her presents from us…
A new book, Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet
A caboodle box and nail stickers from brother
A present from Auntie M that we’ve had for over a month 
After presents, breakfast and telling Daddy goodbye, I took the kids outside so they could ride bikes.
This girl loves her new bicycle! After the heat got to us, we headed back inside and I painted her nails and applied the new nail stickers she got!
We spent the rest of the day hanging out around the house, watching a few episodes of My Little Pony (her current favorite), eating sammies for lunch, and taking naps. For dinner we met Daddy at McAlister’s Deli (her pick) for dinner. Then we headed home to put on our swimsuits and attend the Library pool party at the Mustang Aquatic Center. We had a wonderful evening just being together and having fun. According to Kate is was the BEST.DAY.EVER!
