Bikini Bootcamp {sorta}

Around our casa, we’re starting the Bikini Bootcamp.  Well maybe more like the Amber & Stephen tankini/boardshort bootcamp. Summer is upon us and I’d like to feel a tad more comfortable in my bathing suit. Plus I, Amber, have personally been eating a lot of junk and it’s moving to my trunk. So it’s time to pull myself up by my boot straps or maybe I should just say sandal straps and get crackin’. And since I’m a people person I’m dragging my favorite person, my sweet hubby, along for the ride.

 

I’m going to try and incorporate some simple steps every few days so as not to overwhelm us. We started off two weeks ago with a soft drink fast. No more Coke and I feel good!!! Next I’m adding the 100 push ups challenge. This is bootcamp, you know. I like it because it doesn’t take a lot of time and there’s no equipment involved. You can do it practically anywhere; home, office, or even on vacay!

 

I’m also going to make it my goal to cook dinner every night except for maybe one (or two) nights for the next two weeks and attempt to loosely follow the eating plan outlined in the book. Stay tuned for that….and Veggitas :-)

I did read a blog with a feature titled Real Food Boot Camp. I was inspired and you might be too. I just know that I’ve been feeding my family one too many blue boxes of macaroni lately and it’s got. to. stop.

I’m also bringing back the green smoothie goodness which will be the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!
