Stephen and I went on a date last Saturday. After dropping the kiddos off, we headed to the Iron Starr.
It’s located in a “quaint” part of town. Good eats, groovy shops.
Despite the fact that I gave up pork a few years ago…pregnancy brought my piggy taste buds back to life and so I now eat it in major moderation. All this to say, I chose the pulled pork, fancy mac ‘n cheese, barbecue baked beans which comes with a slice of jalapeno cornbread. YUM!
Our waiter, Chris, who greeted us by saying he’s “livin’ the good life”, highly recommended the buttermilk pie for dessert. We trusted him and were not disappointed folks. This was my kind of restaurant for a good date night. Cozy atmosphere, good convo fueled by good food.
